PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT CVMS

Julie Christensen has over 30 years professional experience in the graphic design & printing industries in Washington & Alaska. She worked with and in several leading print shops in Alaska, has owned for 24 years her own graphic design business as well as has produced her own magazine for almost 5 years.

Her areas of proficiency include Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (produced, hosted, edited & shot video for 1 hour long TV show, Muse, Apple Keynote, Final Cut Pro and more. She worked with every version of Adobe InDesign ever made and before InDesign existed – Aldus PageMaker versions 2, 3 and 4 – before PageMaker became an Adobe program and its’ name was changed to InDesign. A little known fact is that she grew up in father’s technologically advanced print shop in Washington State from age 5.

One of Julie's greatest strengths is that she can teach graphic design and commercial printing knowledge necessary to print your graphic design and printing jobs  correctly. She started training other people over 30 years ago when she worked in Europe.
